A monthly mix: March!

The monthly mix is arriving rather late this month — almost exactly halfway through the month to be exact! Anyway, it's here and I think it's a pretty good one! March's mix officially leaves the dead of Winter behind and instead finds itself packed full of brightly-colored pop songs under the awesome influence of Springtime! Now if it would just stop raining already...

A few notes: There are a bit more new songs on this mix then there normally are, so I wanted to bring a little attention to a few of them. The new songs Allo, Darlin' and Club 8 will be on their respective new records out soon, so keep your eyes very, very peeled for those! As for the two new bands on the tracklist, Junkers and Party Photographers, well they both hail from Philadelphia! Junkers' picture perfect 60s garage pop and Party Photographers' fuzzy pop noise are both worth keeping an eye or three on as well! There will be separate posts on both in the near future!

01. The Ropers "Lost"
02. Air Miami "Definitely Beachy"
03. Pants Yell! "Stop Making Music"
04. Land of Ill Earthquakes "Heartbreak Bombardier"
05. The Fairways "Postcard Picture Perfect"
06. Pipas "Book Launch"
07. Allo, Darlin' "Dreaming" (with Monster Bobby)
08. Gigi "The Marquee" (with Katie Eastburn)
09. Club 8 "Western Hospitality"
10. Junkers "Summer Fun, Summer Bums"
11. Postal Blue "The World Doesn't Need You Now"
12. Blueboy "Amoroso"
13. Dear Nora "Hey Tiger"
14. Party Photographers "Piano Vache"

A great mix as always Matt. I thought that the Party Photographers track was great. I look forward to reading more post about them on Skatterbrain in the future.
