New Xiu Xiu Song - "Boy Soprano"
In a recent interview Jamie spoke of the new track saying, "there’s a song for the new record called 'Boy Soprano' that's one of my favorites also." This is an mp3 rip of a video recording of 'Boy Soprano' live.

This new song features Caralee singing lead vocals for the entire song. However, it's kind of tough to hear the vocals though as they are somewhat drowned out, but considering this was apparently recorded using a digital camera, the quality is pretty good. Hopefully this is a sign of more Caralee singing on the new album.
Other Tid-Bits: Jamie also said that he would really like to work with Michael Gira, Broadcast, and Deerhoof. Deerhoof's drummer, Greg Saunier, will also be producing Xiu Xiu's new album, which is very exciting, I'm really looking forward to what he'll be able to do with their sound. And finally, Jamie noted that he's really interested in collaborating with "like a caveman or something, like a sperm whale, that would be really crazy."

How do we get the video?
They did that xiu xiu song last month on december 9th at the concert i went to, i have some pics at zombiesatemyblog.blogspot.com on a post somewhere.

The mp3 is ripped from a video i took on my camera from the show...if you want the video i can send it to you
i saw them a second time a week and a half later...this time carlee was louder/closer to the mic and it sounded alot better...i think ...the mp3 is probably one of the first couple of times they played it
