Did you know that Mareva Galanter is an ex-miss France? Whatever she has a very nice voice and this a pretty yeye style song I think. Erwan, french blogger
Haha, I was about to say it. The album is fresh and catchy. Not as good as "We Are The Pipettes" (they're both into the sixties revival), but still nice though. She also covers Nancy Sinatra's Bang Bang, and I have to say she does it very well.
one of my favourite. you should listen to stellas version of the song, it think it's the original but i'm nut sure. and while you listen to stella you should listen to more yé yé! even if one don't understand french it's great anyway!
"Sometimes when I'm walking down the street, oh oh, I hear a song, and I just love the beat, and I want to tell all my friends."
The stuff I post is typically for sampling purposes only. If you like what you hear go out and support the artist and buy their stuff and KEEP INDIEPOP ALIVE! If you are totally sure you want something removed, please contact me. If you're not completely sure, you should probably sleep on it and then see how you feel in the morning.
This site is run, designed, and loved by Matthew Edwards. He likes that you like to read what he writes sometimes. He lives in Towson, Maryland. It's relatively nice.
